Tomato Spread

Use on toast, pasta, baked potatoes, or baked tofu.


1 green onion or 1/2 small onion
2 clv garlic
1/2 tbsp fresh tomatoes
1 tsp dulse powder
1 tsp lemon juice
ds cayenne
1/4 c olive oil
1/4 c flax seed oil (keep refrigerated)


With food processor running, drop onion and/or garlic in and process until minced. Add tomatoes and dulse powder and process until chopped (20 seconds). Add rest of ingredients and process until well mixed.

Use as is, or transfer to a dark glass jar and freeze until ready to use. Fill the glass jar only 1/2 full to prevent breakage.
