Melatonin with Chemotherapy

Melatonin_prescriptionWhen given with the chemotherapy drug Doxorubicin, which can damage heart muscle, melatonin protects heart cells from damage by raising glutathione levels and stimulating catalase activity. (Catalase is an enzyme that converts hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen.)
