Mix the following ingredients, except for the frozen berries or pomegranate seeds, in a large glass jar to make a dry mix you can use daily.
1 cup oatmeal flakes
½ cup oat bran
1 cup chia seeds
1 cup hemp seeds
1 cup flax seeds
1 cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup goji berries
2 tbsp cinnamon
2-3 tbsp frozen berries or pomegranate seeds
Place 3-4 tbsp of this dry mix in a 500 ml mason jar or a bowl the night before. Add 2-3 tbsp of frozen berries or pomegranate seeds, 1 cup of organic soy or almond milk and stir the mixture. Let sit overnight. Enjoy the next morning.
Alternatively you can cook the cereal with a water:cereal ratio of 4:1 on medium heat for 10 minutes, adding frozen berries or pomegranate seeds as it is cooking. Stir to prevent sticking. Add more water if needed. Serve with unsweetened almond milk or organic soy milk.
